Retained and Consultive Services
We are a small, closely held firm. In fact, we have never in the past solicited our clients. Our clientele has come to us organically and through our public engagements over the course of many years. Clients come to us, and our business has thrived on that. Our capacity for growth is limited to our desired level of quality engagement, and while we look to incorporate a new forward face to the firm and offer services more broadly, we do so in a way where we can broaden our offering and still maintain our highest standards of service to each of our clients.
When we crossed multiple decades and then reached the milestone of serving over 1,000 clients in this business, we engaged in a new strategic plan to bring the business forward in a way reimagined and in the interest of sustainability. Further, it was time to assess what we have learned in the industry and how our firm can continue to be most effective. We realized we operated in a mystified, closed space. Instead, it is time for a more public facing facet to our practice, at least to the extent and interest of equitable access.
MBHC is a select family office successful in the support of entrepreneurs, vastly experienced in preparing entrepreneurs in securing investment capital, securing intellectual property, offering strategic advice and mentoring to early-stage companies to help them achieve market leadership throughout their startup lifecycle. MBHC’s exposure to hundreds of founders of early stage businesses annually provides a first look at some of the most promising. For years and since our founding, we have only operated in unsolicited space. In the past, our interest has largely taken the form of advisory shares, contracted and retained services or consultative fees as we serve as a trusted resource to our startup clients throughout their startup lifecycle journey.
We are pleased to share that MBHC is engaging on an initiative whereby we offer some capacity for retained services and the like to businesses who seek the experienced guidance of our firm.
